Your very first lesson! We say hello, discover who CLODI is, and learn what 'artificial intelligence' means with some super funny examples.
👋 Hello, I'm CLODI!
I am an AI robot — that means I'm a computer program that can learn, understand questions and respond! Not like a robot from a film with arms and legs, no: I live inside a computer or a tablet. But I'm still really intelligent — well, in my own way! 🤖
🤔 So what exactly is AI?
Imagine you want to learn to recognise cats. You look at 10 photos of cats, then 100, then 1,000 — and after a while, you can spot a cat even if you've never seen that one before! 🐱
Artificial intelligence is exactly the same, but it looks at MILLIONS of examples very very quickly. That's how it becomes "intelligent".
🌍 AI is all around you!
- ✓When you talk to Siri or Alexa → that's an AI listening and understanding your voice
- ✓When YouTube suggests a video you're going to love → that's an AI that learnt your tastes
- ✓When a video game adjusts its difficulty for you → that's AI again!
- ✓Cartoons made with AI tools also use artificial intelligence
😊 Am I alive?
No! I have no feelings, I can't feel hungry, I can't be sad or in love. I process information and generate responses — very very fast. That's different from a human, but it's still fascinating, isn't it? ✨
